On January 8th & 9th 2011 the BRL series will be having their round #4 race at Twin Bridges rc raceway in Eldridge IA.As apart of that 2 day race event there will be a usvta class racing oval for those days, (this is a oval class only event) and for that event the usvta class will be running a 17.5 motor. The twin bridges managment invited all the usvta racers to join in for their round 4 race and to have fun racing in a big race event and those of us who race in the usvta class at twin bridges have accepted it.And now we are inviting all usvta racers to come and enjoy a fun 2 days of racing with us.(You will need to bring a extention cord and power strip tables and chairs will be provided) We who race in the usvta class at twin bridges hope to see you there

please note 17.5 it is. Weight will also be reduced to 1500 grams. Sportsman ESC's and the rest of the USVTA rules will still apply

Default 25.5 tech Ballastic

Motor Specifications:
25.5 brushless with 2C LiPo: Novak SS25.5 Pro brushless motor (pn:3425V) or Ballistic 25.5 (pn:3625V- stator only pn:S6625) ONLY combined with any ROAR-approved hard-cased 2C 7.4v LiPo pack up to and including 5000 mAh capacity. Novak motors are the ONLY motor allowed at this time. All house track rules regarding LiPo usage apply. Only physical motor timing advance is allowed, however Ballistic motors must not be advanced beyond the timing range sticker. 12.3 mm rotor diameter only (no "tuning" rotors are allowed, only stock Novak rotors allowed).

Ive been playing with this and notice on the Ballastic that the bottom screw on the timming is at the end of my sticker...I have the older one with the notches and no numbers....but it works the same....also tunning rotors Identifiable groove on the shaft bevel to differentiate it from other Novak rotors.

is this correct?....want to make sure Im on point with the tech....

Nice body that will make for a proper looking Trans Am race car. I hope they are going to do a 70 fastback next

Sorry, my right clicking finger couldn't resist. These are the other photos from that site.

This is really a nice body! I would have to think it would be allowed at a club level for VTA even if its a while before its approved by USVTA.

I'm sure it'll be approved instantly by USVTA or even pre-approved, as it's indisputably appropriate for Trans-Am.

Well, you guys have moved on to other topics and now back to talking about stangs, but I wanted to thank everyone for their advice on tires and wheels for my GT350 body.
