been running Mini-z lately...
and every post from you in this thread lately has been "when they changing the motor rule?"
So I don't need to hear you in person, Scooby - I see it in black & white
When I get a saturday that I can get to the Bowl, I'll be down - if not, I'll be running all summer outside

If you want a new motor approved, get your favorite manufacturer to put up the money, pay the fees and file the forms. It requires ROAR approval. Until then, it doesn't matter, its in the rules. Besides if all motors are built to the same spec, it won't matter as they won't be approved if they're not.

Really, enough about the motors. It's not real amusing anymore just to stir muck. The USVTA rules aren't changing anytime soon. New 21.5 motors aren't in the cards right now, and the way the class is growing with leaps and bounds, they might never be. If you are sponsored and want to run your company's motors, find another class or run a 17.5.

Was is the max width we can run in VTA?
The question could read, "Can I run a 200mm electric car assuming everything else is legal on my car?"
Here are some electric cars that I know can be run at 200mm
-----
HPI RS4 Sport/Pro - using wide bones/cvd
Associated TC3 - rally kit included 200mm arms/cvds
Associated TC3 using NTC3 suspension (some after-market chassis allow this as an option)
Not sure if anyone answered the width question a few posts previous to this one, but I've wondered the same thing myself.

I wish I had a nickel for everytime Doug has given this answer! I'd be rich! But I'd be stupid RICH if I had a penny everytime it has been asked when other 21.5's will be allowed!
So when will the trinity 21.5 be legal in USVTA? Woo Hoo!! one step closer to retirement!!
