Putting electronics in my new T2 008 EU spec.
Got a question.
First, the manual say the steering linkage and server arm should form a 90 degree angle.
After mounting my servo, there is no way that is happening. I have it mounted in the rear most hole and the link is as short as it can be. When I rotate the arm to make a 90 angle, the servo output shaft would have to be almost at the mounting post.
Anyone mind posting pics of their electronics mounted please.

Here are a couple of pix with a 4900 Trakpower fitted. I am trying to take advantage of the reduced weight so I’m trying to set the car up with different springs and oil as well as camber and toe.
So far it has improved a lot but still fells a bit loose on corner exit. Maybe I should to take it easier on the throttle.

What weight limits are you running to as there doesnt seem to be much weight added to the second picture. The first 2 pictures seem to have a good amount added where di you get that shaped weight from?

added weight is around 140-145 grams and it's well balanced right to left (with hudy balance tool)..
I've got no idea what is the overall weight of the car but it goes like missile
two 0.3 mm washers fitted under topdeck and shrink wrap removed from lipo to fit under top deck ...

I have a question about steering throw.
I finally got my linkage and servo horn close to a 90 degree angle and the horn is on with the servo centered.
The steering set up seems to favor right turns, did you guys have to limit your servos travel to even out the left to right travel?
It just seems like the geometry of the linkages, allows the servo to push(right turn) farther than it can pull(left turn)

I finally got my linkage and servo horn close to a 90 degree angle and the horn is on with the servo centered.

- Set all your radio setting to make sure everything is equal or defaulted.
- Once your servo in centered install the servo horn. You have your servo horn at 90 degrees with the link to the servo saver per the manual I see.
- Make sure your steering links from your servo horn to your steering arms are the exact same length. Don't worry at this point whether your wheels are equal to the left or right.
- Then lengthen or shorten the link from your servo horn to the servo saver to get the wheels as close to straight as possible. Use a setup station and check the angles from side to side if you have one.
- Once the angles are equal on each side, adjust your toe settings. Your steering left to right should be really close to equal if not right on at this point.
- Now set your end point adjustments so that your servo is not trying to steer further than the car is able to.
Your car should be ready to go. You can then drive it an make fine adjustments with your radio.

I'm about to buy a 008 eu rubber 6cell and have some questions
I have a lrp brushless 3.0 motor i want to put in it what gearing should i start with?
does the car come with 64p or 48p spur and what size is it?
what extra springs or roll bars should i buy for it? also what are the ones that come with it thanks
