Ok... Rocco tried it (he works for RC America), and I (drive for RC America) tried it to see how close they were... I had both cars in my hand.

Guess that means I'm wrong then... Wouldn't be the first time...

ok, i am pretty sure the bulkheads are the same right? Like I said, use the US chassis in conjunction with the US top deck... jesus kids lol.. The top decks are NOT inter changeable. I am looking at mine side by side.. on the US chassis there is a 2.5mm difference in bulkhead gap, when compared to the EU chassis(eu bulkheads are closer togather).

Fair enough. Point proved. I don't have the ability to do a side by side comparison.

Sorry if I came off as offensive. Its not good to tell someone info that is not correct especially when it will cost as much as these bad boys do.

Robert- The bulkhead gap between the motor and the diff bulkhead is closer together on the rubber car...

Perhaps I should have been a bit more ambiguous in my first post.

I'm running Rubber tyre right now and was thinking of getting a carpet 008 and then getting the rubber chassis and top plate but I'm not sure I can do that now. is that correct? picture is worth a thousand words. and no not busting balls just would like to see how far it is and more what's different visually in the layout if possible. don't go buy a camera to do it but if you could I would appraciate it.

I am curious also. I wanted to try a 6 cell EU chassis on the carpet car, but it now appears that it is not possible????

If you buy a carpet chassis, you must use the carpet top deck and rear deck. If you have a carpet chassis, you must buy the rubber deck and 2.5 mm chassis. You cant mix and match like in years before. I talked to ralph yesterday and he said that Xray wanted to change the flex points from car to car. It sucks but both the foam and rubber car are the best cars Ive ever driven by far soo I dont mind.
