depends on what pinions you have... I have spurs from 90-100 for those motors.. you can get bolt in versions from nexus racing in 2 tooth inc.. ..thats with the 2.375 internal ratio..

35 /104 would be your top gear for 10.5 (5.0-5.5:1 for 10.5), with your 39 you only get about 4.5, I belive 13.5 you will be running a taller gear than that.. like in the 4.0 range.. so you might have to get smaller spurs for the 13.5

I need some info about alternative belt for T2'008 EU with 34/20 pulley and lowered center layshaft (and front/rear on lower position)

Front 507mm belt, I know Cyclone belt fit. Any other belt?

How about rear 183mm belt? Any alternative belt able to use? Maybe 180mm MSXX rear belt with tensioner on most lose position?

Is the 008 really that much better than the 007 is it worth the investment for the average club racer? How do you improve on prefection? The 007 is an outstanding car, some say they didnt like the 007 turn in or the way it turned period and some say it turns better than the 008....Just looking for opinions...Also is there a parts conversion table of sorts on what 007 parts will fit the 008? (US foam)

The fastest laptimes of a 5 minute run are both the same whit my 007 and 008. But the 008 is much more consistent then the 007. The handling of the 008 stayes the same for the whole 5 minutes. The handling of the 007 changes to much during the 5 minutes. That is the biggest difference i can find between the two cars.

You dont think that the track conditions are changing more grip vs less grip and it is making the car seem different....It is hard to make that comparison is why I am asking....what major changes did you find w/the car physically.

The 08 is just a refinement of the 07... its better.. at least for me (rubber tire on carpet) then the 07 but its not a night and day difference.
You can win with either car so it comes down to your budget and how much having the latest is worth to you.

Most parts are interchangeable in one way or another. Front arms fit, c-hubs fit, spindles fit. Hinge pins are same in front...

The car is similar but the parts are refined. Some are just different materials and different mounting locations.

Your '007 will have plenty of parts that will work as spares and tuning options.

X-ray does have a parts compatibility listing here (at the bottom):

I like the 08 better on carpet with rubber tire... and the more I run it the better it gets... had to work much harder with the 07 to run as well as my 08

I think on the whole the 008 is a better car than the 007... I've been very happy with my 008's on carpet on rubber and foam tires and on asphalt in both the 6 and 5 cell configurations.

Lots of other local area racers tend to agree with me as well: They feel like the 008 is smoother, more predictable, and more consistant than their 007's.

Not only that but but the 008 is more adjustable than the 007 in a number of regards and this too can help you fine tune your car's feel for you.
