I was told from Orion...very soon.
the motor can be ran both sensorless and sensored...
since the Orion BL's don't come with the Sensor Wire. You have to purchase the wire seperately.

You are seriously spoiled. Our winter carpet track sees 6.8s stock laps, and our outdoor asphalt sees 10.6s stock laps.

Specs and stuff is all there. They list the 13.5 as the 23-turn equivalent though....

Looking at the spec sheets, the Eraser 13.5 is down on wattage and rpm compared to the Novak 13.5.

Nah... no sintered rotors.... YET!
i guess LRP makes *TWO* 13.5 BL motors?

i. LRP Vector X-11 13.5-turn Brushless Modified Motor
ii. Eraser 13.5

The Eraser 13.5 is comparable to a 23T,
Eraser 15.5 is comparable to a 27T ..
Both Erasers come with bonded rotors.

so where does that leave us with the Vector 13.5 ??
It is mentioned here that the Vector comes with either bonded or sintered rotor.
http://www.rc411.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4849

It's all getting waaayyy too confusing, even for products coming from one company ...

The "eraser" is a cheaper alternative.
The "X series" is the current top alternative from LRP

i understand that from a pricing perspective.
but if you were to organise a 13.5BL class, how would you know which one to allow or disallow? seeing that one is rated comparable to 23T and the other is 27T, whilst both coming from the same manufacturer.
i guess the organiser will have to clearly stipulate the "allowable" motor part-number

In all fairness the Novak 13.5 should be rated at as equivalent to a 23 turn and not a stock as well since it is faster than a Brushed stock motor.

I just got my LRP 13.5 yesterday and will be racing tomorrow with it on asphalt. I'll post how it is in comparison to the Novak 13.5's as that's what everyone else is running. I do NOT have a sintered rotor in mine though....just the bonded. But it is to my understanding that the bonded rotor in the LRP is a lot better than the novak one......Not sure on that though.

Ahhh Man !

You guys know the Lrp will faster than the Novak and when the Orion becomes available it too will be even faster than the Lrp .....

This will not stop until a power rating is establish and a way to measure the power is created.....

Don`t tell me its not possible, cus it has to be done !!!

Credibility has to be restored to stock racing or just let the stock racing program die .....

The way we use to tech ?

By checking the motor with a visual examination ?

It did not work and will not work again .....

The only way to restore stock, is make it so everyone believe`s they too have the same power as everyone else..

Like said in Novak 13.5 thread, there is no way to tech performance. The only way to tech is tech on construction spec.

So if 13.5 BL is too fast for stock, fine, get 18.5 BL as stock, or something slower. It's all up-to-org to decide. Problem is if they react fast enough.

And there always people yelling speed-nerf, 5cells-nerf, LiPo-wanna-be, blah blah blah blah blah.....

Sorry , I don`t believe you can`t tech the power output one bit !!!!

And yes I`v heard from a few say it can`t be done ...
Thats all bull I say !!!!

I have not race stock now for two years or better ....

Will never , ever , race stock until I know the other guy`s motor is just as fast as mind.....

or

Just forget it , I will never buy a brush or brushless stock motor until a true & honest method to tech is created ....
