I pick up an LRP and check out lap times
If you are running mod, try out settings 2,4,0,1 on the LRP. That's what I settled on and it feels great. If you are 10.5 or 13.5 2,8,0,0 or 2,8,0,1 (if you need more drag break) should be good. And for LiPO, change the first setting to 1.

Yes, the 2'nd number is for punch, the higher it is, the more punch you have.

on the lrp if you over gear the motor, and the motor melts down often it can take the speed control with it,Stock super stock and 10.5.

Have seen the speed control go on its own also, all brands will die from the issues, heat, over gearing, is the usuall cause but sometimes you have just a fluke. Over gearing the mods will kill the speedo faster then anything else.

I must have had the fluke for sure. My current SP GT is really good though and their customer service so far is top notch and just a few hrs away from me. I've had pblms with LRP customer service in the past. When my old Sphere TC melted they actually had it shipped to Germany and I got my new one back in like 2 months...I hope they changed their ways by now, cause if something does go wrong with an LRP again, I really dont wanna wait months before I get my pblm fixed or replaced.

But the LRPs down here seem to working really good. in the Florida State Series the top drivers are running them

now thats just funny right there....

Added weight is dependent on so many differant things, I think your going to find guys are adding just enough weight to meet the min specs of where they race. I personally added most of my weight up front.
