get the Ko Propo low profile servo. PDS-2413 ICS. digital, lots of torque (more when compared to other low profile servos out there) and gives you more room for electronics on your MS.

very nice servo indeed but at a price.
nothing cheaper but decent?

yes.. but you pay for quality. i havent been disappointed yet by Ko Propo.

im not sure where you are located, but support in the United States for Ko is tops.

any news about the 18t pulley?
Do you think tamiya will release 18t pulley and compatible belt for ms?

Yeah a standard TA05 center oneway doesn't fit.

Have you looked at a Futaba 9451 or 9452?

There pretty good as well, a few racers in New Zealand including myself use them. There pretty decent, and usually good price on them as well. RcMart has them for $84 USD for the 9452.

I have been wondering the same......my guess......and its a guess only, is that Tamiya maybe was thinking of putting a belt tension pully there

Just bought one of these a week ago and had a few questions ! wheres the best place to source parts in the UK? also anyone recommend a good stock 27t motor for some tight indoor carpet tracks !

You can use Motor Bike fuel tank protector. You can get it from you local Motor Bike store. Its a clear film protector, which is really durable, works great
