[QUOTE=rampal;3732290]for a big wide high speed track with a 3.5r, I'm with the spool... I'm using one right now and it's like night and day... and you still have brakes ... perhaps for the 23t the one-way will give you better feeling, however I don't know what you can do with a 23t on big track.... I just get deeply bored on the straight.... hehe.

Hahaha... Hey, thanks for the reply about spool and one way... The track that I am running is not like yours, yours is very BIG... In where I run is only maybe more than a half in the straight...

Anyway, thanks again!

and where i should put the shims?
The black outdrives are steel. You can use the shims between the bearing and the lip on the outdrive. I don't really find them necessary on the TA05MS as there as not as much play between the lip and the bearing in comparison to the TA05.

I think one-ways truly shine when paired with motors in the "stock" power range on smaller courses. The rear-wheel drive corner entry feeling is great; no other configuration gives that kind of corner entry speed and line. But even in that range of power, if you are on a larger track where you need to slow down very quickly, say for instance, if coming off a straight, then the lack of brakes can be a serious disadvantage.

According to ittjv and rampal, you need:

TAM9804268 - 415 MRE Replacement outdrives
TAM9804267 - 415 MRE Aluminum Spool Drive Cup

I am probably going to start using the delrin outdrives as well.

i got my spool..
ang the steel outdrives are heavy..

maybe if the outdrives and dogbones are steel..
the dogbones or universal shafts may bend when we crash.
correct me guys if im wrong.

and by putting outdrives instead of steel.
which of them will break if crashed?

Mine seems to hold very good (considering my car likes to fly 3ft from the ground sometimes )

dont think so... this is for the 05MS which has different motor mount, belts and upperdeck... if you want to transform your TA05 on carbon, I reccomend you to search for a kawada, penguim or a kawahara carbon fiber chassis kit (around US$100-120)... otherwise just buy the 05MS kit (around USS 340).

cheers,
al
