what do u do to get ur cuda roll faster throug the turns on small twisty tracks?
did anyone try changing the rollcenter?
I often notice the same thing, an easy answer from someone would be nice, but so far all I've heard seems to be the mid span suspension arms. I'm not sure if thats the route I'd like to go because the cars usualy very good around the rest of a track and only suffers in one or two of the tightest sections. I guess it's how much of the stability are you willing to sacrifice.

I would think you could try just a tad less rear toe in or raise the rear roll center some. If you are working with the front for more steering you could try lower the front camber link a little (especially if it is a top mounted setup, don't have mine yet to know 100%) or you could also lower the front roll center on the arms by lower ball studs or smaller spacers. I will know more once I get my car and actually get to see how everything is setup. You could also use small 1mm washer behind your tires like the HPI Pro4 does to widen the rear by a mm on each side to loosen the car just a tad to make it faster thru the sweepers.

I know for me I will be using the mid span arms to start with and work from their but that is just me.

I don't know Herminator how much of this you tried but just some things I thought of. Maybe one will help you out.

You could try placing some small spacers under the rear wishbones mounting balls. This will alter the roll center the loosen the rear alittle .

I haven't tried to raise the roll center in the rear but I'm running with 0.8mm spacers in the front of the rear arms to add antidive.. and it gave me just the needed extra steering for our track. www.brc-racing.dk

I'm also running the 1 deg rear hubs and can only recomend them for everyone.. haven't tried the mid span arms since our track is fairly large (its just about a perfect 1:10 track)

You might also try to move the front dampers in a hole or 2 in the top.
Other surgestion would be to put a 1.4/5.75 spring in the rear.
Raise the rear 1-2 mm more than the front.

And don't do it all at once

Happy racing

Nope. Steve is selling them as a Reedy Race special. They are coming out with a regular carbon fiber chassis R3. No more sparkles.

Also I know of someone who is working on a 3mm chassis set for the R3 that will have a couple of changes over the Stock Layout
