We've actually missed all the snow here its been chilly but dry
I mat be going to Carlisle in a couple of weeks though, always a good way to start the outdoor season, just hope the weather improves a bit. Also need to get a new motor, last years 19spec is dead I'll miss that motor, it was nice and powerful ut had a hard seasons racing.

measuring droop?
Hey Cuda owners, just wanted to find out what reference point on the arms/uprights/hubs you use measure droop on the R2? under the screw up front or on the arm itself? Thanks

Bevel gear assembly
Okay, I guess I was a little bored replacing my bearings and replacing some parts, I got out my camera and took some pictures of how I put on my bevel gears. The pics aren't the best but it gives you an idea how to put these on without breaking them. It is pretty easy and you just have to be careful not to squeeze too hard on the gear. I know there are people buying cudas and this is one kinda tricky part to assemble. There is probably an easier way to do this but thought I'd share mine in hopes of helping others. Click the link and look for the pictures of the gear assembly.

Ti Axles.. get them if you can, saves a lot of weight. less rotating mass for your drivetrain. i have them on my R3... saved a lot of weight over the regular steel ones. EDIT..they're made of titanium, not aluminum. MUCH LIGHTER.
for steering. i have the aluminum rack (more steering throw) and i threw in the ball bearings.. now its super smooth.
most important thing are the alum. shaft holders. the alum. steering rack combined with the bearings is really super nice too. id get those first if you cant decide what to get.
