here is my list of strongest to weakest front towers..

1)R1 2.6mm
2)PAL R1 2.6mm
3)K-modles 2.3x2(but still breaks at the base of the 2 pieces
4)R2 2.8mm
5)FLAP 3mm but to thin towards the outside mounting locations

wow i guess im lucky i havent broke a shock tower in a looooong time knock on wood lol but maybe they will come up with something if others are having the same problems

I think I'll be switching both cars over to the R1 tower for sure. Does the rear tower need to be changed out?

With the way I gear my cars man, I need the cooling. I was running a 6.4 ratio at SoCal last tuesday until I geared down for a little more torque, still, I ran a 6.8. My stuff gets HOT.

I have seen a couple pics of that brace, do you know where to get it, I really want one, seems like it would stiffen the car up a lot.

Yep I have seen it but a better version of it...my buddy was going to make one similar to it a few moths back...but he ended up droping what he was doing and bought a Kai chassis ..as for that brace you can make it out of a old R1 chassis piece... or you can go the easy route and drill a hole in the lower chassis like the web R2 and use tie rods to tighten up the rear
