ARGH!!! silly me
All those X's and E's got me confused

I think we need a page with each company described and what they make for the cuda, with links for each with pics, or am the only one that can't keep track of all the different companies that make things cuda?

Just when I was getting worried that I would never break my 'cuda, it happened. I broke my first part since owning the R2...a front shock tower Hit a marker cone at top speed with my 8 turn motor and the car came to a grinding halt. At least I can now say I broke something on my 'cuda.

Thankfully KO Racer's chassis kit which I bought is on its way. The weirdest things is that every other part on the car is fine.

Silly me for using the outermost shock position But its not a problem...thats the only part I've broken in the 5 months I've been using the R2 Considering my "modest" skill that's good going Me + 8T mod motor = NOT GOOD

The Flap one is too thin toward the outside and so it the R2 one...but the PAL and R1 front towers are much stronger

so these are now the weapon of choise for me

I usually mount the shocks on the 2nd or 3rd hold and they are breaking.....

here is my list of strongest to weakest front towers..

1)R1 2.6mm
2)PAL R1 2.6mm
3)K-modles 2.3x2(but still breaks at the base of the 2 pieces
4)R2 2.8mm
5)FLAP 3mm but to thin towards the outside mounting locations

...

Ahhh yes Kitomas ....air scoop design that he borrowed from Masami`s Home Page heheheh ....it looks like it would work quite well if you motors get rather hot....but I have yet to have a cooling problem with my motors on any of my Cuda`s
