The stock spur in the sdw is a 70t. after i rebuild the diffs in my sdw with graphite gears i found i had to reshim the diffs. ended up with one shim on either side of the diff.

i built mine according to the directions, shims and all, follow the part that says bolt the bulkhead to the chassis before tighting the output or is it input shaft plate. mine was silky smooth outof the box. lots of roll time. if you look really really close you will see the tooth number on the outer ring part of the spur gear. i rub mine with a marker so its easier to read and i know which one i'm using at the time.

Will the SDW front arms and shock tower fit an SD, just broke mine today and thought I'd get the worlds ones if they'd fit?

no, neither will fit. The SDW front arms are shorter and use a wider suspension mount. The shock towers use different mounting holes.

Thanks Matt.

I had a rear shock tower on the front, but after the break only had the standard one to put on. Car actually felt better, so will keep with the standard front tower.

Those springs should be a good starting point. Check to see what pistons are in the shocks now. Usually yokomo #2's with about 40 in front and 30 in the rear is a good starting point. You can check out some setups on www.yokomo.tk if it's working still as well.
I see you're from Toms River, my wife is from Forked River

they're the same rubber compound but the 139's are thinner. Since they're thinner they're lighter and grip slightly better but the down side is they're usable life is less than the 138's since they are thinner.

Default Rear belt

does any one know id the rear belt of of a 1/12th yokomo mrt4c, will fit a 1/10th yokomo mrt4c sd? i can see any difference with the car is just that the chassis is shorter (thus the dront belt would be shorter)
can any one back up my theory? or do i just test it out and hope for the best?

We race 1st and 3rd Sundays, so will come down to Palmy when your race days don't clash with ours.

The mr4tc sd is the shaft drive car, I think you mean the old mr4tc, and yes the rear belt off of the mr4tc mini should work with no problem on the mr4tc

with a medium insert you'll get more grip and the tire will heat up faster. If it gets too hot then the tire will overheat. As a general rule the hotter the track the firmer the insert
