Price breaking Ninjas? Do they do free-lance work?
I really hope the LCG conversion kit is going to be a realistic price, bearing in mind you need a donor car. That said, there are plenty of retired SD's for sale at the moment going dirt cheap in the UK.

yeah speedtech have pre order...i think i would wait till have sum feedback...cant afford to play two car in a time

woo hoo!
*correction*
just received my LCG kit and this thing is sweet! especially the machined bulkheads very light.
if i recall the chassis is 2.5mm thick. while the upper deck is 2mm. though a 2.5mm uppper deck and 3mm lower deck would be nice. time to do the conversion

$239 is pretty good. That's roughly £125 plus shipping.
Where's that credit card.....

Pre ordered and waiting. Better hurry before the hole shipment is gone...LOL
Hey RACER
So how did it go together?
Does it look as smooth as the photos?
I hope to get it before the next series race here....I want to get a good stock motor setup and let the BD be for 19T and eventually MOD...

but as for the battery slots, they are made for larger size batteries. i'm using 3300's and it has some side to side movement.
the chassis does have some flex. the steering posts does not connect with the upper deck, so it does take away from the stiffness of the car. make sure when you attach the steering arms to the post do not over tighten the screw.
the steering post will be tough to get out afterwards.

I thought they were going to use the battery trays liekt he BD on the LCG...so there shouldn't be any play. Did you not receive the trays? the two three cell black things...If the Steering posts don't align there is going to be binding....I will have to have a very close look next week when I get mine....

and regarding the steering posts. yes, it may bind.
the steering post sticks out about 1-2mm above the arms. so the screw may bite into the aluminum and can be a hassle to get out afterwards.
someone asked how the upper deck on the LCG compare with the Pro 4? the LCG is lower than the Pro 4.

Yeah, I asked you thanks for checking!
I m not suprised the LCG is lower but the Pro4 is still the lowest after the LCG
With the specs the LCG brings, this car is gonna have a great cornering speed!
I wish I could afford one but I might just get SD SSG or a Pro 4 next month
