Those are the SSG versions of the Belt-drive specials that came out about a year ago after the SSG parts were used at the worlds. Looks like a full rolling chassis and an almost complete spare car plus lots of spares. Hard to value, but if the cars are in good condition I don't think you were ripped off.

Thanks Coolrcdad and Randman for your inputs!

Thanks!

One way to free up your drivetrain is to remove a shim from the input shaft's small pinion. There are 3 of them, just remove one or two to get a little of free play in the meshing of the gears. Another way to free up your drivetrain, get bearings than you can clean out, and put thinner oil inside instead, the ones included are grease packed ones have a lot of unwanted drag. The ones that you can clean out are the large diff one, just remove the rubber shield, clean and put ball bearing oil inside.

Well after 2 months I broke my 1st piece on my SD. I was up against the inside wall because I got hit and my body was tucked uder the rear wheel. I was in a very safe part of the track as no one should even be close to this line becasue it is so far out of the groove. Well I was wrong. I was about 10ft from my car and after telling all the drivers where my car was I damn nitro car smashes the throttle and like most of them an arrow looking for a target smashed into me and broke my rear a arm and my rear shocktower. I was pissed the say the least. He was lucking I didn't beat him like a dog. I kept my cool all in all but I told him he best stay away from me or he might have a painful day from repeatedly falling on the asphalt.

Well I fixed my car and learned not to practice with a nitro guy on the track as most have no control what so ever. Normally at our tracks they are just faster in the straights and I dust them everywhere else with my stock motor so I never worried too much as I don't wreck ever other lap like our gas crowd normally does.

It is all fixed and I feel better now after a little venting.

Joel, are you running foams or rubber tires? If foams I will e-mail a guy to see what he ran a couple of weeks ago and have him post.

Joel: I run my SD on carpet with rubber tires. I will be posting my setup soon, but first have to fill out the sheet today. I will probably post it under a new name because I'm tired of using my dad's screen name .
