When is the JRX-S Type R due for a replacement? Stores have been chopping prices on it.

Unfortunatly, i don't see losi doing anything more with this car, but i don't see them being proactive enough to work on a new design. It is "losi" now...
It would be fine, in fact the heavier case would add a little more wieght to the front. I run the 9000s and have had it for a while (before the 9100s came out), but i do noticed that the R's leverage happy steering system eats at the servo's bushing support within the case... I've gone through a few of those (cases) ...

I have a mix of servos in my cars. You can see what they are in my sig.

I have a JR 8450 that's 4-5 years old. Metal gears baby metal gears
I run the Orion Lipos now, just too easy to fit in the car. There are better cells out there. Hurricane 3800's and 5000's are good I hear. The 3800's have lots of punch at least equal to the new TP 40s 5000's in a 17.5 application where we don't draw near enough amps to max out the rating. One of our local guys has all those cells and like the Hurricane cells best after back to back testing at the Novak race.

Isn't Hurricane just selling the IP3800 35c LIPOs that Trinity is OEMing? I could be wrong but I thought I read that somewhere. I have read multiple times the IP3800 35c LIPO is a good pack if that's what hurricane is selling. I'm using 3200 20c Orions at the moment in 17.5. I wouldn't recommend them for extremely competitive racing but for club racing they seem to do the trick. I had them for my off-road cars and they have been good for that over the past year and half. It's time for an upgrade.
