Steering rack Question
Hi guys, happy new year.
I have a question about the steering rack.
We have the extra inner hole to change the ackerman settings.
How will this affect the handling of the car, would it better or worse
Has anyone ever used this setting
Cheers
Tim

I replaced my front with a Losi molded thrust bearing when it went... However when I blew my rear bearing I didn't have any Losi ones left in the shop but had an Xray one from my previous car that fit... Haven't run into any issues after that...

Both Mike and myself ran the standard link with ball stud in the caster block. I used a tall ballstud (LOSA9947) in the caster block. I'm not sure whether Mike used a tall or shockneck ballstud on his car.

I wouldn't say the standard link gives a lot more steering. If anything, the car reacts a lot faster to wheel movement. With how fast we're going on foams now at big races, a car that doesn't react = B main or worse.

Spool Question
I wanted to use a 42T spool up front for this weekends race, but mistakenly ordered a 41T spool pulley...So i need to inprovise and need your advice. The pads that come with the 41T spool, are they attached/glued to the 41T pulley or are they detached? If they are detached, can I take the spool pads from the 41T pulley and put them on a 42T front diff pulley, and make a 42T front spool?
