is any one can help me, I have a diff problem during the race yesterday, both of them (f/r) are burned at the spool which has a ball bearing in it (the plastic part is melt). I use Novak GTB with 4.5 brushless motor at 9.56 final ratio.

Picked up my JRX-S Type R Thursday was racing Sat at HB .Im trying to locate some from A arms, everywhere i try is out of stock can someone plz help ive tried all the usual sources, sppedtech, losiparts, horizon, ultimate hobbies etc

pretty much everybody is out of stock but you can find the short arms still, you can use them , i actually put them on my car to try out and the car worked alot better for me.

I too will be going with the short arms. The shorter one's seem to hold up a little better compared to the longer one's from what I've seen at my local track.

Sounds like both of your diffs were too loose and slipping during acceleration. Heat from the friction of the diff balls and rings melted your pulleys (even though you said 'spool', I assume you mean 'pulley'?).

it's funny you mention that... did you see the hurt i put on my car in the main? same corner 4 times in a row. the a-arm (long ea3) is perfectly fine. i did crack a graphite caster block and bend a dogbone, but the arm survived. it was a replacement set of arms though, not the kit ones. i don't know if that means anything.

For anyone who is still running carpet this time of the year, you may want to give this setup a try...i ran it at Speedzone in CT (tight track with good traction) this past weekend for one of their trophy events...my car was really fast, but may be a bit aggressive depending on your tastes...it steers like crazy both in and out of the corner.

Wow, all kinds of unique stuff in that setup. I don't have the parts to duplicate it. I guess I need to pick up some sway bars. We run carpet all year around here, though it's pretty dead during the summer.

Hoping to race tomorrow at HB SoCal, will be tuning the setup tonite does anyone have a good baseline setup for asphalt (indoor) will be running 19T sportman class

Hi guys, any one else had problems when running 5 cell packs.

I have run 5 cell for a while now, with them in the rear position.

In the pictures below you can see the problem, there is nothing to keep the cells from moving forward in a crash.

so i really do believe a 5 cell battery tray is needed.

Ps, my cells used to be glued together

Put a foam block like we use in the offroad cars or a dummie cell in there.

You can get a piece of plastic pipe from a hardware store that is the same diameter to take the place of a cell.
