I'll have to double check, I'm not positive. I may have completely imagined that whole thing. If these guys are using the 25 on their Futaba, I'm sure they know what they're talking about.

Sure As soon as you figure how something that is 4.5mm - 6mm in height can protect someting from an impacting object that is 12mm and higher you be sure a let all of us know.

A nerf wing that low IMO will only provide protection from side slapping a board. you know, something that goes from the floor up.

But what does it really matter. If you feel that it helps and gives you confiendence in your driving, then do it.

An ESC with perfectly flat sides that's friendly to be mounted on its side would be ideal, since you could get it closer to the center of the chassis and get at least a little more protection. For brushless, the Novak fails in this regard with its weird edges. The Tekin and LRP look like they may be a bit friendlier in the R. I've already had one incident where I was broadsided by someone that blew through an apex after I passed them, and it knocked my GTB completely loose.

Also, with this PRS adapter you can run several other brands of spurs as well. I know the PRS spurs are a bit pricey but I promise you get what you pay for! Their pinions and spurs are of the charts cool! Good luck Gabe!!! I hope you dialing in the Type-R setup for all of the hommies that come to the Nats!!!!

Thanks, I was using PRS on my other car (that will remain nameless) and it was dialed!! Also, I will be sending Keoni with the totally dialed set-up just in case I can't make it to the Nat's this year. That way you can beat him up for it!

yea in the summer heats when track temps gets to 165 degrees i need to run about a 12.1 fdr to keep the temps down and you cant do it with the 128 spur ,for the 134 spur i had to mill the chassis a little bit to clear the spur! no if i need to i can gear down to a 13.6 fdr
