economic argument aside, the cloning is awesome. if amb offered cloning as an option upon ordering (even for an adder), i would do it. my pt# is in alot of databases from going to the big races. it's nice get practice laps and a name with them for the internet race coverage year after year.

as a track manager, it would be nice to see that each pt# belong to a racer, and not a vehicle. racers swapping pt's from class to class is a hassle with some of the scoring programs.

this is good. then again, any competition to a company that monopolizes the market is good. burn in hell, amb!

Could you explain this?

Also, are you interested in any hobby shops in the US carrying your product/service? Please pm me.

If we could then we would, new numbers could cause problems but cloned numbers are ok as it is your own personal PT ID number.

Re 1/12th scale, or rather 4 cell racing. With 4 cell racing using heavier 1/10 electric touring/sedan cars existing PT's can suffer missed laps but with an i-PT this would not happen. It's the same with some ESC/servo combinations laps do get missed there are known 'issues'. I guess the market will decide if an improved PT is a good thing to have!

Seaball you're getting to see the possibilities.. not only the numbers but also the missed laps, they are a bad thing for both racers and race organisers.

We can make the case in various colours, eg blue, red, orange, purple etc custom made for your order.

Simple questions:

How much each shipped to the USA?

If I sent you a PT to clone 4 times over what is the cost?

What is the warranty / repair policy?

It's longer for the US than the UK or Europe, but we would expect your PT would be with us for only a couple of working days plus the shipping time back to you. If there was any delay and your existing PT was being returned we will return your PT after 'cloning' and your i-PT will follow when ready. (this only applies if it's not a broken/damaged PT that's not on our free shipping offer, as your broken PT wouldn't need returning to you!)

Yes external solder tabs, easy to change the lead if you need to or adjust the length. It is an improved transponder design!
