As it sits right now with wheels the chassis weighs 1143g with a 230g ULCG battery. With ~100g body + body clips its still pretty light at under 1250g which I would still need to add ~40g of ballast to meet 1280g minimum for my club races. With a bigger 22.5mm tall battery, which is usually around 270-280g, I should be just above the weight limit.

around 270ish. once I switched to ul bodies I had about 20gr to play with. No center 18gr weight either but I did have the esc plate. I also had to space out my motor to help the left to right balance along with being mindful where the esc was placed. IDK that is just my experience I was always around 1330-1335. If I needed to shift the weight balance fwd, I was always in the 1340 range, depending how much I needed to calm the car down.

I'm sure if I would've used more of the lighter parts, caster and toe plates, weight wouldn't have been an issue for me.

If it's possible to give just the empty chassis weight w/o electronics, it's just easiest for everyone to read...

For some points of comparison, my SP1 was 467g, MTC2R was 471g, X4 24 was 508g, and AT1 was 587g. The MTC2R was already pretty light.

Not at this moment when all my electronics are installed, lets see if theres anyone that could measure the empty chassis when they are done building theirs.

Xray springs will not fit the car. Only Mugen springs fit it.

Car is really nice, all the rod ends thread in nicely - no need to run them on a drill to break them in, just a bit of chapstick and good. Some really cool features on this chassis. Nice to see specs on body mounting in the manual- made it easy.
Racing this weekend on a semi bumpy, medium grip asphalt track, really interested to see how she performs.

Halfway through building mine. Very interested to see how the thin chassis copes with low grip tarmac/asphalt.

Yea I don’t want to find out. I’m going to use some UMHW thin tape to see if that helps and I’ll be tweaking the upstops to see how it goes.
