A friend of mine that have been racing for 15 years would say 009 because of the convinience as far as adjustability. I only have a year into racing and I own TC5R for me this one is a keeper I got most of the bugs out of it, it's dialed to the track that I always race on and parts is easily available through LHS. The only flaw with the TC5 is if you are not sure what gearing to use on that specific track it's a liitle pain in the arse to change the pinion, specially if you are running 17.5 class with that motor you need atleast 35t 48 pitch pinion it's not gonna fit through the motor mount and it"s not a quick change with 10.5 or faster motor you should be fine.
I still go for TC5 I just love what I got.

When you guys place your electronics, do you pu them at the edge of the chassis or tuck them into the center? I have everything as close to the belt as possible and I think ive narrowed my problem of push to not enough weight transferring to the tires...the battery tray put the pack way outside the chassis and that gave me the idea...thanks for any help...

Just my 2 cents, but after I balanced the chassis I would look very closely at my suspension set-up and try to get more weight to the front tires at whatever part of the corner you're having the push.

Thanks...I tried using 1 color stiffer spring s in the rear to transfer more weight to the front but it still pushed...Im going to move the electronics including battery, try it, then try the orings in the four rear screws, try it, then try a spool instead of diff in the front...

You should START with the spool, not leave it for last, as it will help you a lot.
Also try adding more drag brake to your esc, that will transfer more weight off throttle and add more steering coming into the corner
