My car doesn't tweak after every run. Maybe you should purposely put tweak into your car and compare the lap times I didn't get the shims. I'll see if we can get some from Jesse or ABR.

what's the default spring setup for the tc5r?

what do you guys recommend for a good setup on springs for high grip asphalt. which colour springs? i know it depends on weather and track conditions and tires but what works for your tc5r.

any info would be good.

thanks

Team blue's lookin good so far after 2 rounds. Hebert and Hohnstein are TQ's in 13.5 foam/rubber respectively . Hebert is also 2nd in mod 1/10 and 1/12 as well. Blackstock is TQ is WGT, and 3rd in 1/12 mod.

Thanks for all the help guys! Here she is all ready for racing tommorow and ready to beat some xrays. I got the foams in a bag soaking and got it within 1 gram balanced on all fours. I need to fix the wires so they don't look so bad but it will do for the first race. Let me know if there anything you see wrong. The body was looking great but I already had 3 track days of testing in

Looks good man, cant see what could be fixed or done as pictures are a bit blurrry.

What size lipo is that?, i cant fit my 5400mah fullymax lipo under my battery holder unless i change to longer threads on the screws that hold the battery down.

Also it may be wise to tape that battery down also, you never know it may slip out.

My Tc5r now finished... complete with new rear bulkheads and 170g lipo plate, both designed and machined by a friend of mine who sells them.

Default will need help associated TC5R

I just bought a new tc5r and I was wondering where to look on how to set it up. I had an old hpi rs4 sport and after a month I decided to get out of the stone age and buy something new that would handle a brushless set up. I don't have it yet but I want to be ready so when I put it together I am a step ahead. The hip was my first touring car and I haven't raced r/c sense I was in jr high 15 yrs ago I have a lot to learn

Try here if you haven't already... I'm a foam guy so I can't say which rubber tire setup is the best..

AE team setup sheets..

Find Josh Heinsteins set up from a few pages back. I'm sure someone will post it up here if you are really stuck (josh, sorry if I spelt your name wrong). It's a good set up for 13.5 brushless.

I was running it with the black swaybar in the front, a diff in the front on the tighter side, and if the box didn't come with the parts, I didn't change them out. Basically just moved the things that he had moves. The car is not perfect with that set up on our track but it's pretty close.

Try it out.
