I will check my set up sheets when I get home from work and post the gears. I am at a 4.7 FDR and the motor was right at 160. You could probabl go up a couple of teeth since you are running the tires at a smaller diameter. But the gears will be a good starting point.

Yes you should tighten it down tight, you should not be able to slip the gear or least it should be very hard to move. I would recommend putting lock tite on the screw. Also you should retighten the diff bolt after a couple of batteries as it will loosen some as all the parts get seated togther.

Ok using 48p gears start off with a 33 pin and 78 spur. Since you are running your tires at 56 mm you probably could go 35 Pin and 78 spur and be right at 160 degrees.

I use 2 degree at the arms and 1 degree hubs. This seems to work really well for me and several of the factory guys use this as well. The 0 degree hubs seem to cause the steering to be too agreesive for my tastes.
