I have been using AE's XP Digital Servo 1015 in my TC5. Good speed, torque, and price! Street price is under $100.00.

KO's low profile servo. It doesn't hang over the chassis and you can mount your transponderon the side if it.

Hmmm I just checked Losi Parts House ($89.95) and that is not a bad price. I've have had my S9550 for almost 5 years and I am in need of a new servo. Other that the size the specs are similar to the S9550.

Does AE make these themselves or are they rebadged? ...not that it matters.

It is the ACE 1015 with some cosmetic changes. This is one of the most popular 1/8 off-road servos - durable.

Kropy- Thank you. It was a very good week end. The car ran really good ! I am looking foward to next races.

Tony6187- Changing the diff height can change the way your car handle drasticaly. Moving both at the same time let say from middle high to middle low won't be as big of a change compared to moving one at a time. having a front diff higher than a rear diff will give your car more steering and vice versa.

I never run my diff higher than mid high. I like to run my diff low as it usualy makes my car easier to drive.

Default Cleveland Update

Hey guys...just wanted to drop a quick note to say thanks to the Team Associated drivers at the US Indoor Champs. Both Juho Levanen and Keven Hebert made the modified "A" main finishing a respectable 5th & 6th. Juho was also able to make the ultra competetive 19 turn main and again finish 5th.

We have now posted these two setups on our site for you, the customers to test out. From what I've been told, these setups are quite a bit different than what they've ran in the past and are based on a setup that was developed for the stock class. So just cus it says the setups are for modified, give them a try in stock. I'd be interested in hearing what everyone says. Have fun!

Interesting....you confirmed what others have been posting...the team drivers went back to the stock chassis. Plus went from from one way to dif. ( I recently changed from one way to diff also) I've been considering switching over to the ITF, and have been reading several people that have now switched back to the stock....so I decided to stay stock, for now.

Whats up with the #56 pistons though? "Piston kit" doesn't come with those IIRC. Is that a special order item?? Looks like springs, camber and shock oils are all a bit different then other similar condition setups.

Kevin, these are foam-carpet setups that Brent just posted....rubber setups are totally different, even if you are running on carpet...

56 and 57 pistons are Losi pistons, three holes. 56 are red, 57 are black.

Hey everyone,
I'm still trying to figure out the whole tuning thing with TC cars since Ive only been in this hobby for 2 months so I'm looking to you guys for advice. I've been doing pretty good racing at my local RC shop, but still looking to doing even better. I've made it into 3 out of 4 A mains but I want to finish higher

I'm basically using Brandon Meltons RP30 carpet setup with minor tweaks. I've been getting a lot of push lately and I'm attempting to correct it. Reading through the xray setup book there seems to be MANY different ways to get more off power steering. What do you guys think is the best? change springs? change diff height? diff tightness? change ride height?
