Those arms look strong and beefy with little to no flex, perfect for all our high grip endeavours. I recently put the Super hard arms on my BD8 (didn't know that part number existed until recently) It was a nice upgrade for myself on the Black CRC surface.

The aluminum chassis looks to be in-between the standard flex and new extra flex T4'19 chassis.

Both the front and rear diff out-drives appear to have the option to run blades or run bladeless - very nice.

I had no idea that Yokomo had such a neat belt tension adjustment method - kind of a spring loaded clicker design. This is an area of TC design that has always frustrated me - on some cars it's absolute nightmare when you are in a hurry on a club night after popping out a diff for repair, adjustment or maintenance.

I found out from Bitty that the BD9 is indeed different from the BD8 - pre-cut bodies from the BD8 are not compatible. A dedicated pre-cut M410 and JP8 are planned for the BD9

Seen a few places starting to stock the kits.. Banzai, Rcmart, Toni sport.. think Amain order is coming in any day. Next few months will bring some excitement to the BD9 once racers get them in hand.

I am excited to get my BD9. Ill post picks of the aluminum chassis when I get it. I have yet to see images of actual production units. I don't understand why some call it a T4? It isn't like Xray was the first to introduce current platform everyone is using. If you look at Awesomatix or AE 7.2, they have copied Yokomo's Centered front belt, but I see it as natural progression. Tiny changes in every evolution is where we are. My BD7 2016 looks much the same as the BD9 from 20 foot. Both my BD8 cars have been fast and flawless. I am sure the BD9 will be a BULLET
