I've done this multiple times and each result has made them stuck to my set up boards nice and flat. You have nothing to loose to try it. I have ocd and if my chassis are tweaked I have to have them go straight. I have a spent a couple hundred or more on chassis base plates in the past. Now I use this method, can even have them in rotation between maintence sessions. If it starts with a super bad tweak you may not get it 100% but very close.

You are correct. If you have tweaked a piece of aluminum, it has yielded. You will need to yield it in the opposite direction for it to be able to be able to spring back and be flat.

I might get killed for this, but here it is. Debating about going from 2016 to 2019, just not sure it is worth it, your thoughts? I have 2 T4 2016 and run 21.5 and 17.5. Feeling the need for a change.

Probably worth it if you are racing on carpet and your existing car has seen heavy use. Nothing like starting out with a fresh new build after a few years. If it is on asphalt and your '16 is very low mileage, maybe just keep it a little longer until the '20 comes out in 7-8 months.

Dan, thank you. I am one of those guys that has a ton of spare parts and just changed out both chassis. I run on asphalt in south Florida and still like both cars. Thanks again.

what setup are you running? What tires, and how tall is your glue? We typically run between 58-59mm of glue on the fronts.

I searched the xray forum but couldn't find it. Could you provide a link to it?

If you are set on $800 plus shipping, I will sell you mine. All original plus aluminum chassis, aluminum arms, Bruno servo, brass suspension holders, etc....too much to list. Only raced the car two times, no crashes. Now it sits and collecting dust under my coffee table.

Need money to buy another Light Saber
