If you use the exotech body mounts (EXO1752) the shocks can be fitted on the front of the rear arms. When using the inner shock mounting points on the arms, the shocks will foul the slipper cover.

The rear bumper mountings are unaffected.

The tower is mounted facing forward to mount the shocks forward, and the bumper will not mount

With the 22 4.0 transmission mounted? It takes some "customization" to fit all fo this. I mounted Dakotah's just using the two holes in the tower and cut off the bottom part of the mount. It worked great, but he doesn't crash too much either.

I managed with some long screws and an aluminum standoff on the bottom one. Perhaps this will be my next 3D print to tackle.

What's the deal with driveshaft length? Even with the short shocks from the 4.0 setup, the dog bones barely sit in the outdrives at full droop.

Do you have internal limiters?

6mm as per the Dakotah Phend 2018 desert classic setup. Since I'm running carpet I may add more, as well as go to shorter springs to get it lower.

What diff/hub setup are you running?

I would recommend going to the +3.5mm hubs. This should most likely eliminate your issue. The part # is TLR234088.

Yes, as noted in the kit, you cannot run the stock (o) hubs and the diff raised. The driveshafts will fall out for sure.

Ah got ya, was not aware of this since I don't have a 22 4.0 manual

adding more spacers inside the shock did help with driveshaft engagement, and it needed to be done anyways since I'm running on carpet.

Default BALLCUPS

Man these ball cups suck, same as my 22 4.0. TLR this is a very important part, why ignore something so important. I barely got hit from another car and it popped off, lost the race twice over this. What are you guys doing, On my 22 4.0 I put traxxas turnbuckles and cups. The problem right now is the front top , just want to know if anyone has this problem and what they did to address it.

This is how I did it. Had some left over plastic shims in my box that I used.
