...'benifit from the advances'...? That must be a fan-made image, because the TLR marketing team knows how to use spellcheck :)

also "see's" - so yes, let's hope you're right!

New ball cups with holes in the top fo all you guys that like that style.

The photos on liveRC show the Stock diff from the 22 3.0 SR and this does not come with the SCT. You get a std Gen II diff with this truck I am told.

I was hoping they would standardize the modular diff design used in the SR across the 22 lineup. I thought they would have included steel out drives in place of the composite outdrives for mod use and retain the steel cvd's.

Ohh well, maybe down the road they will go that route.

I think the interface with the numbs will be hard and expensive to produce out of metal. I am not aware of them having plans to do this but no idea. I am sure they could produce them with different manufacturing methods but again pretty complicated part. I think as a consumer I would rather replace the existing parts.

An idea. Two threads. This thread for pre-release talk, hopes, hype, did you get yours yet, that kind of talk. And then, when the truck has reached the tracks, a new thread just for set-ups, builds, hop-up parts, comparisons, all the stuff that comes up when people have the truck in hand.
When I was getting into SCT, it was a bear searching through the single thread to separate the chat from the data. You don't notice it when you're there from the beginning, but it's pretty messy for people that come in later looking for info.
Just a thought.

Awesome. I assume they're backwards compatible with all the existing HD turnbuckles/ballstuds? It'd be nice to swap out all my current TLR's to drilled ballcups.

Can't comment for certain but I am not aware of new ball studs and tie rods appear the same so I would have to say yes.
