Hi guys,
I'm running a B6d on medium traction indoor dirt. The car is really easy to drive and stable but I am needing more mid-corner speed. I am unable to "drive" my way around this obstacle but am reluctant to switch to the laydown as I'm not sure this will help.
The setup I'm running is close to below (I am in middle hole on front arm). I am thinking of emulating a laydown setup (battery in forward position, shocks to outside on front arms) but any thoughts from the AE army are welcome and appreciated.

When running a rear swaybar on a b6 on astro (indoor and out), what change to the handling can I expect, other than less roll? I've never had a swaybar on a 1/10 car before.

IMO, the biggest difference between laydown and standup is how much more mid-corner speed you get. I noticed this on my B5M/B6 and my TLR 22T 3.0. It's not as much the weight distribution, but moving the weight down low. So a long way of saying I think you should try laydown.
I'll try the battery forward/front end changes to see if that's a step in the right direction. Laydown conversion kits are scarce, anyway.
This is what I have in mind:

With laydown, are the 67mm dogbones and requisite hubs an absolute necessity?
