on a recent jconcepts video, Jason Rouna stated that their turnbuckles for the B6/B6D were a little shorter than the B5 ones.

For reference, I looked the B5M and the B6 manuals and on average, the B5M turnbuckles are about 4mm longer.

B5M: 3inx2.06in=3inx52.324mm
B6: 3inx48mm

One would probably work on the other in a pinch, but for reference, they are of different lengths.

No. You'll need big bore springs.

I recommend Kyosho's or the Yokomo's.

I think by standard, he was implying standard big bore springs (i.e from the B4.2/B5 buggies).
The link he posted shows big bores. All the same part numbers as shown in the B6 manual. :)

Go to or get in touch with SDRC. They said on facebook they could ship to someone inquiring.

If somebody really needs one I can spare one of mine. I just can't ship for free. I've got one of my rentals on the market and until it sells I'm on hiatus anyway.

Anyone in Socal going with the B6 for SDRC and OCRC? I kind of like the thought of the gear diff after running onroad for a bit. Seems like for 17.5 it would be a benefit anyway but then again i have never run them of road in anything but 4wd.

Socket 07-12-2016 09:30 AM

Gear diffs and 17.5 do not mix. Those things are HEAVY.

Wenger right now is KILLING it in 17.5 with the D car at OCRC.
