That's just the first thing I noticed at the top/side views. Correct, link should be perpendicular to the bell cranks.

I thought I read it here somewhere but I can't find it. Is the B6 top shaft the same as the B5M? And will an Exotek slipper eliminator work? Thanks!

Pulled the trigger at Tower on the B6 just now. There is like 2 in stock left in Champaign, IL warehouse.

Funny watching it jump in and out of stock the last week. Like it trickles in or they find boxes fallen off the skids around the warehouse?

I'll race the B5M FL for the rest of the season on the real dirt outside.

If I buy the B6D it will lineup with the E-cash for sure for max discounts.

The two shafts are different. The B6/B6D shaft is longer but the exposed shaft outside the gearbox should be the same. The eliminator should fit.

new top shaft. my avid direct drive works fine, I assume your exotek eliminator will work.

A buddy coming from yokomo said the B6D outdoors is cheating.

Will the B5m body fit the new B6?

flintTRDTC 07-14-2016 02:44 PM

I have compared the lines of the B6 and B5 body. They are a bit different and don't see the bodies being interchangeable.

No. The B6 is wider up front.

turnbuckles were fine, I used a 3m tap on mine and bees wax. But, the 3mx10mm screws engaged my clutch on my driver before i was expecting it, and they just "feel" different.

I ran a tap thru my ballcups as well and now my turnbuckles are money! Usually I try to use the drill method to get them on, but the tap works much better

Any idea why angle ball cups? I know the kits don't use them.

The Wiki post, which is why we have it at the top of the forum, says..NO the B5 bodies will not fit.

Wiki posts, great in theory useless if people don't read them.

Yes they will fit! I saw one last night! You need to trim back the front wheel wells, and cut some of the tail off!
