Yea you can pretty much run the arms, hubs, axles and 67mm bones. They will work just fine. I updated my B6 as soon as the parts were at my local track. |

It does. It will work as is, but ideally, you'd have a 1mm shim between the shaft and inside of the drive side bearing. If you're doing a conversion, Pay close attention to screw lengths, 6 of them are 10mm, shorter than the B6's. Use the longer ones and it'll damage the inside of the case and potentially lock up the gearbox at the idler gear.

Hey guys. I'm running my buggy at an indoor dirt/clay track with about medium grip. The motor limit for the class is 10.5, but I've been running a 17.5 as it's controllable and fast enough for what I'm doing. Just for fun, however, I'd like to chuck in a 10.5, just to see what it'd be like. Probably way too much for me, but I've just gotta learn for myself. (This explains why I've got a lot of scars.)
I'm running 29/72 with my 17.5. What would be a "normal" range for the 10.5? I've got some tiny pinions hanging around, just looking to cause trouble. Thanks! |
For a 10.5. 23-25 on the pinion with a 78 or 81 tooth spur gear.

I am finding the B6 battery strap very difficult to install, especially for kids. It requires to have a nut driver which is boring. It is really easier on the B5M with the thumb nuts.
Do you have a clean solution to replace the battery strap system with something easier to use with thumb nuts? Thanks |

Anyone have a good base setup for running B6 "off road" on concrete parking lot? I've tried some hard pack dirt setups and they seem to miss the mark....

ASC91800 B6.1 FT Direct Drive KitAnyone know if this will work in a B6. I want to lighten up my drive train. I just got MIP puck system but want the slipper eliminator. I know exotek has them but was going to see if AE B6.1 part will work. I eventually will upgrade to 6.1 but don't see the need to now. |

For everybody here!
I have been reading thru all this great information from ya's since page one. I have just recently returned to the hobby from the early clod buster days. Showing my age a bit!!! I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this thread. I figured since I was going to start back again, what better way than with an AE car. I know this isn't contributing much as far as tech stuff, but just wanted to say thanks for all of it. You guys are awesome!!!!

Where can I find the instruction sheet to build the B6 gear diff?
