Has anyone tried the new brass front hinge pin block that TLR offers for the standard 3 gear tranny car?

DE makes some. The 22-4 front wheel fits on the 22 12mm front axel. I have been running it for a while now and work great.
Come in a variety of colors as well

Thanks Casper! I will have to try this (22-4 wheels with standard buggy front tires).
I did try simply putting the actual 22-4 front tires on my 22 3.0 and they tamed steering down. I guess this may not be legal to race with.

Are you running laydown or standup? If running laydown the most common fan setup will be putting a fan behind the motor double sided taped to the chassis. If running a stand up car I'd suggest the waterfall from Mo Performance Parts on Shapeways.

Servo mount
Sorry if this had been covered and I'm sure it was cause I have read somewhere that when using the alloy servo mount some people are mounting the servo to the back of the mount. Why is this done? What does it achieve? And what else needs to be changed to get it to steer properly. Thanks for any answers.

This was with the 2.0 however I'm sure with some 3D printing prowess one could be made for the 3.0 with ease

This is off my 22T 2.0 but I did the exact same thing on my 22 3.0
Hollowed out the waterfall, placed a couple spacers under the fan against the waterfall for clearance. Then, since the body is so close to the backside of the fan, I reamed a honeycomb pattern of holes out to help draw air through the fan.

Thanks Frank. But do u need to put the steering ball stud into the front of the servo arm as well to make the link straight still?
