For anyone that has upgraded to the shorter front shock body and shaft from the 19 spec carpet car, could you measure the total length of the shock - top of cap to bottom of eyelet, not screw to screw.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I could get 3 races old 2016 Carpet version for around 450 € (520 $), including the following electronics:
Savöx SC-1256 TG
LRP Flow Competition
LRP X20 StockSpec 13.5t
Other than that there are several pairs of tires and some spare parts.
Should I get it or rather try to get my hands on a 2017/2018 version?
It would be a secondary car to race between 1/8 seasons
Here are two pictures:
Thanks in advance for your help

You should buy a 2019, either carpet or dirt (if it comes out) depending on your track.
Lots of improvements between 2016 and 2017, didn’t like 16 édition, it was lazy and lacked traction.
2018 was even better, mainly because of the chassis and ‘19 got all the last options (SLP and rears hubs especially). Considering the prices of options parts, spares and tires the price of a kit is not the expensive part. Upgrading to later specs does, especially Xray kits.
Okus you will have a very good resale value for a year

Since it's only a secondary car I now got a 2017 version in almost new condition with lots of spare parts and new chassis for 200 €.
What kind of electronics would you suggest? I would like to run stock first, but maybe some modified later. Would the Hobbywing XR10 Pro be a good choice?

Just finished rebuildung my recently bought XB2 2017 and the electronics arrived as well
Only need some battery connectors and I need to figure out what to do with the receiver antenna
Guess I did pretty okay with the cable management (servo & ESC cable) without shorten them.
