from Ray Munday, AE team driver outdoor set-ups. he runs on some various outdoor old school low to med traction tracks in Australia
4 gear= better stability under power, but less steering. Use for lower grip and tracks with straights after slow corners. 3 gear standup= more on power steering than 4 gear, better braking. Use on more flowing layout.

quick question.
when you install the eliminator did you guys put a shim of some sort to keep the spur from rubbing on the motor plate?

The exotek is thicker. The xray piece is 3mm the exotek is 4.35mm

Just a quick note about the Exotek rear camber mount. It wont allow you to run a rear sway bar. It is shaped differently than the xray pieces. There is a small notch on xray pieces to allow the sdway bar to move freely where as the Exotek piece does not have one. JFYI

Hey guys,
Is the car Ty used at the nationals a dirt or carpet version? Trying to figure out which I would need for medium to high bite indoor tracks. As I am sure it's posted somewhere I apologize for not reading through everything and appreciate anyone's response.
Thanks!

Xb2 2018?
Hey guys,
I am looking to get an xb2 CE but I see it's been out for about a year. How often does xray update their cars now? Do we think a 2018 version is set to be released soon? I'd just hate to buy a 17, and then a month later the 18 comes out. I used to run an xb4 and they did a new car almost every year so I wanted to hear what some of you with more xb2 experience have heard or think will happen?
Thanks.
James

New car for sure, same for the XB4.
October/November I guess.
They released a new XB4 each year, same for the XB2 since 2 years.
