the Jconcepts wide B64 front wing fits perfect and the middle dimples for drilling holes line up with the holes on the tower for rear wing i ran the yokomo wings
BloodClod and JRSlash like this.

I run Azarashi items like the front wings - AZ-0048HD come in large and small both in heavy duty plastic. They also make 1/10th wings in heavy duty so that could be a good starting point too.

What aero setup will help the most with high speed under power push? I feel like my buggy is dialed at under 15 mph but starts to push at higher speeds under power so I'm thinking aero is my biggest problem right now. Running pretty tight and technical carpet track.

I ran the JC front wing and aggressive front tires and cut the rear wing down

also are you running the rear wing in its lowest position, that will have a great effect if you haven't been? if so then cutting the rearward lip down at different heights until your happy with the balance would be your next step.

I think it will be more than fast enough for club racing in the stock class on carpet and of course it's known as a great dirt car. If I can get it to quit pushing under power through big sweepers I'm sure it would be a better car. I have exotech chassis, slipper lockout, and 12mm front hexes as only upgrades. I'm thinking aero is impacting the car since I'm not pushing under 15 mph under power. I'm running gold 40 wt. rear with red 50wt. shocks front. The car jumps really well.

do you have the front steering block shimmed up.
ie the 2 shims on the bottom?
if not change it.
front spring could be too heavy i dropped to yellow in the front, gold rear on carpet, with the same oil. I was running gold/gold.

other items
more front camber
decrease rear toe
roll centers for push on power you can try to raise the front and lower the rear but roll centers are big changes.
too low of a front roll center will push on corner entry but be very good mid corner once the car slows down.

I've noticed my buggy seems kind of loud when going full throttle down the straights. I am running the upgraded aluminum top shaft as well as the aluminum idler gear. Do you think not running the plastic idler gear causes excessive noise? My gear mesh seems to be fine. Not too tight.

My other guess for excessive noise would be drive shafts?

I also have B5M and it runs all plastic gears in the transmission and its super quiet.

I had the same internals as you and at first it ran super smooth and quite, but after more runs it got louder and louder, so at 20 runs (20, 5min races) I took it all apart and noticed that the alloy idler was badly worn and pointed ends, everything else was fine. I changed to a b5m idler gear and since then everything has been quiet again and running smooth, its had easily 50+ runs on it now with no change. the B5m gear is slightly larger Dia with the same teeth count so the mesh is even better

Nope, there isn't an official one, theres a set on shapeways you can buy in pieces then the guy who designed it will tell you the parts needed internally to make it work, b6 bits.

https://www.shapeways.com/marketplac...product&q=d216

I havent bothered just spent time setting up the car on high grip surfaces and its starting to get really good now

Mine is getting a little loud now and looked into putting this b5m idler but couldn't find it. All I could find was the hardened steel one....
