mine came in Thursday....did a power build and broke it in Saturday. quality was really nice. I didn't have to do anything to the arms what so ever. I have about 8-10 pack thru it and its starting to come around. Rear end is a little loose right now. Still box stock except i took out a little anti-squat. That seemed to help. I hope it get worked out with a couple more pack thru it. Otherwise Im very happy with it.

Hey guys,
I have my MBX7 ECO and just a pair of front shocks away from upgrading to a 7r
My question is, Will I have a chance in hell getting this buggy to run "Pro-Lite" or will the weight of this buggy be to much for 2s and a 4600kv 4wd SC motor? Just looking for input..
Thanks
Ducky

Wow, real traction rolling! most folks are actually sliding the rear a little, it catches & flips them, so they call it traction rolling, but it's not really. What your car is doing should be real traction rolling.
1st fix is to remove some droop. Try paying attention to which end (front or rear) comes up 1st. Remove a millimeter at a time on that end. 1-2 should do it. If you need more than 2mm, go back to where you were & go up 1 step on the roll bar on the OTHER end (front if the rear tire comes up 1st). This will change more things in your setup, so you may need to adjust other things to get back to where you were in front to rear traction balance. If that doesn't do it, remove droop again. Still not fixed, try increasing spring rates (I would recommend doing a similar increase all the way around).
to sum up
1. which end comes up 1st?
2. remove 1mm droop on 1st end, fixed?
3. remove 1mm droop on 1st end, fixed?
4. add droop back
5. up 1 step in sway bar at other end, fixed?
6. remove 1mm droop on 1st end, fixed?
7. remove 1mm droop on 1st end, fixed?
8. add droop back
9. up 2nd step in sway at other end, fixed?
10. remove 1mm droop on 1st end, fixed?
11. remove 1mm droop on 1st end, fixed?
12. add droop back
13. go back to original sway bars
14. up 1 step in springs all the way around, fixed?
15. repeat steps 2 through 15
This looks like a lot, & it is, but you probably won't have to do more than a few steps to get it corrected. I just took it way out incase you are running a REALLY soft setup.

I just picked up the Mugen line and I am so happy Looking forward to the new cars. I have had a 7 since they were released, but have been cheating on it with another brand to test the waters. It was fine, but I am glad I am coming home. Thank you Mugen for giving me the opportunity.
Sorry to spam, I am just happy

Is it only me or there is no way to obtain rebound from shocks even if properly prepared to have rebound ?

I'm not sure I 100% understand your question.
Do you mean there is no way to get any rebound in the shock at all? If so, it's only you.
Do you mean there is no way to get the exact same amount of rebound on all 4 shocks & have it stay exactly that way for a full 5 minute qualifier? That is not just you. That is the problem with building shocks & setups depending on rebound in the shock its self & why I NEVER build rebound into my shocks or setups.

I just got my kit today. I opened it up to start the build and they sent a couple of different packs of screws stapled to a paper stating they were replacements. Anybody know what step these are used on? Or is it that there are enough of these that it replaces all screws of this type?
