Anybody had any trouble with a front suspension tweak? I had to unscrew the front right shock two turns to get the front wheels to come down at the same time (chassis supported by round stock on a table. The rear is fine and I know my shocks were the same length before I adjusted the one (calipers).

and I think I may hold the record for the worst breaking crash of a xxx4, as of total cost to fix, broke the chassis, front and rear suspension arm's bent front shock shaft, broke the front diff cover, front shock tower, suspension arm pin, right hub, and bent right wheel drive shaft, and cracked the wheel, for a total of 103.98 hit an I beam full tilt about 8 foot in the air...lol

Haha...
So, mister tried and tru Losi fan... You're saying that Dakota needs to be running for AE, or that you'd been happy that TLR came out with a B44/Durango clone like everyone else..
And based on your logic, Tebo, Cav, Jurn(sp), TY, etc... and the platforms they are sponsored, didn't win the Catcus either bcz their companies built stupid cars that are a waste of time & money... Hmm, isn't there a World Champ driver in the names I just mentioned, & doesn't Cav run a B44???
Hmm, maybe Cav would have made the podium if he ran 22-4.. Mind blown!
Btw, what 1/10th wheeler do you drive again?
Lol.. Trolls are funny

My 22-4 works just fine, I have put about 50 packs through it and have broken 4 ball studs, 1 arm, and 1 shock tower. Id say thats pretty good for my first wheeler, all breaks were on 1 part of the track too.
We have a chicane followed by a double-double(wheelers quad it) right into a 180 turn. If you go to wide on the turns before the quad you end up tripling then blasting into the corner pipe, followed by a few cartwheels. The other 22-4 driver has broken 4 arms and 1 rear axle on that section but he goes for the quad every time.
Track layout is changing tomorrow. I think my buggy will be happy. I still stand by this buggy. Mine is mod'd with Schuey arms which have lasted surprisingly long. I think I'm up to about 20 packs on them, I'll just use them till amain gets some sets in next week. I did break a front shock tower though after using the new arms. My assumption is the added strength in the arm is just transferring the energy of a crash further up my car, breaking the shock tower. That or the extra play in the arm is stressing the shock standoff connection, breaking it there.
Hey I know one way to solve my problems, stop crashing. Since this is my first wheeler, this doesn't sound realistic. So therefor I will keep loading up on replacement parts. I love my 22-4. My only problem with it is it makes my 17.5T TLR 22 2.0 feel pushy and slow haha. I still love both cars though. I can't wait till I master both to the point I can start winning big events.

I think Losi fell flat on their face's with the release of the 22-4 4x4 buggy, what where they thinking with using a design from the 90's , xx-4 buggy to reinvent a new 4x4 buggy platform, as evident from the resent Cactus Classic race, in the hands of the Best driver in our time at the moment, Dakota Phend, couldn't do shit with that car, surely Ryan and the others are top notch, but if this car was destine to be great, Dakota would have wiped the floor with them guys, I see the B44.2 and Durango as the 4x4 cars to beat right now. If Dakota had one of them cars he would have had #1 podium stance in the bag. I am Losi fan Tried and tru, I also live miniutes from Dakota here in clarkston Mi. seen him grow from an awesome racer since he was 7 years old started kicking mu butt by the age of 12 but going back to the 22-4 waste of money IMO

i read your post a couple of hours ago, and this statement of yours is dead on correct. all in all who is TLR ? TLR Racing exist because of the club racers, we are the ones buying the product and parts to maintain them, not the pros. the pros are there to entertain us, promote there product and help the average joe racers with there support. so why not build a buggy that makes the everyday club racer perform better with an easy to drive off-road vehicle, in my opinion and many others this is the absolute best 10th 4x4 buggy that i have driven and TLR has the ABSOLUTE best support i have ever seen, so thank you for proving that TLR hit a home run with this 22-4 buggy. keep up the good work everyone at TLR....
oh and 3rd with a fairly new buggy out of 44... mostly stacked with the best drivers in the world i would say is a very good day...good job Dakotah !!
