Default pinion?

Sorry guys i need help, don't know what pinion gear or type to get, this is going to be my setup:
Tekin Rsx 6.5 combo
radiopost blue servo
shorty packs
tires: hole shots & blockades M4 compound with aka foams
Running at small track outdoor with light watering before qualifiers & main for night club racing.
Any help would be much appreciated, also if any of you can tell me a generic
point of how much boost and timing to get started, as i am not familiar with
electric buggy's since i run nitro primarily.Thank you guys- got all electronics just waiting on kit for my build process to start

Thank you jason! Does it matter if they're the other way or this way?

The Hinge pin holders are one of the (many) nifty ideas I've seen used on this kit.
(I'm not sure if I've seen this style before or not, but I like it!)

In front the angle of the kick-up will be affected by adjusting the blocks.
In the rear it's called Anti-squat...

Check out your owners manual, on page 36 to see which blocks to use to get what ° of kick-up, or anti-squat you want~

So, just because I have always geared for temps, and I've never bought a NEW kit before (meaning they've always been on the market before I bought.)....

I don't know what to start my gearing at. (I've always had a good starting point before this kit~

I'm running a Speed Passion 8.5t (about 4000kV.) with a Tekin RSX.

I was looking into the "top speed" calculator... I Plugged in the diff for the RC8b (3.31 ratio.) and plugged it all in for a 28t pinion, can came out with 42mph... Which is faster than I'm thinking that I'd need to go on my 1/10 local track...

I see guys talking about 41t pinions, and I wonder if I've got mine geared way too low....

Any help would be good~ Looking to get this truck on the dirt for the first time tomorrow.

First run on car was decent. Just a little loose in back. Am disconnecting rear sway bar and going up 1 tooth on pinion gear. Started w/ stiffest front bar and softest rear bar. With they made a harder front. Might have to make my own.

Second run better, definitely need stiffer front bar to be able use the light rear at all. Going to lower front inner camber link.

or maybe the carbon fiber arm inserts up front. i'd like to have those as a tuning option, but i think the last time i looked you could only buy the front with the rears and the price was really steep. hopefully someone like SnR makes just the fronts if HB isn't going to sell them separately.
