Avid and stock chassis share the same wheelbase. Wildcat is right add weight at the lowest location possible that what the avid adds.

I can buy the less flex part. But the way I read the benefits listed by Avid, the lower CG just comes from the added weight of the chassis. It doesn't look like motor, battery or anything else of significant weight actually sits lower. So I'm just not seeing how it improves anything if I already have more than enough grip on both ends.
But if Tessman says it's better on high grip, who am I to argue about it.

What it says is that it allows for even lower placement for the ballast weight.
At these minuscule scales, i highly doubt it makes much, if any difference.
Now, if like the DEX410's rear Brass Skid Plate it actually places weight somewhere else on the car, and in the case of the 410 it makes a significant change. Taking what a professional sponsored driver says about products he is paid to promote… That's something people need to evaluate and decide on for themselves. A driver of Ty's caliber can take a competing product they've never driven and make it look like a cakewalk.

This is a quick little video I did. Just got my schelle chassis and wanted to show how and what it comes with.

How often do you crash. If you need to be marshaled more than a couple times a race day, your crashing is probably stretching the a arm holes, way more than they are wearing. Unless you race on a track that has a lot of dust.

I crash a lot but have gotten good and landing on my wheels. Little throttle, little break, twist right, twist left .after couple really nice cartwheels and back flip it looks really cool to land it like Olympic gymnastics team.oh I just replaced my worn front arms.

I don't crash a lot and this isn't the first time I have encountered soft plastic with this kit. HB has been really good replacing those parts. Its shimmed frequently. Thanks

I had a chance to run & race the car for the first time...it's absolutely a fantastic racing platform (TQ, Win and 4/100th sec off the tracks fast lap record). Thanks for providing us such a good 4WD Buggy HB!
