Ya saw that one Thanx!!
The losi one looks as tho it is too close to the servo kinda goes strait up and the hb horn has more of a stand off that may seem better for the ball stud to come from the rear and still be off the servo a bit.Gonna head to the race shop tmrw and figure it out,Thanx for your reply!

HB horn fits almost like it was made for the HB car. Oh wait...
IMO don't even mess with anything else if you can get the HB horn. I'm sure there are others that work, but the HB horn is the right part.

Been using the stock spur gear since day one. No issue.

I've got several races on the stock spur without a problem too. But I still like the design of the Exotek and being able to swap spurs easily.
While I haven't and don't expect to strip a spur, the one that comes in the kit is not exactly a precision part. You have to decide where you want to set your mesh and check it all the way around since it is not perfectly round.
I was definitely going to get the Exotek until I read about the noise level increasing after it was installed. Now I'm not so sure as I was hoping for just the opposite of that.
I'm having the hardest time finding stuff to spend money on with this buggy.

We had a bone stock 44.3 smoke all of us last time out. After the 10 minute amain I was like how in the world did that guy manage 29 laps when I got 24. I lost a couple laps by having to be marshaled 3 or 4 times in the first two minutes before I got settled down, but dang.
Found out a couple days later that Blake Boggs drives for AE. I really need to pay more attention to some big races and at least know the names of some of the fast guys that live within driving distance.

Between the arms and the notchy diff's... I had it with that car ... I have been running AE on and off for over 20 years... This kit just pales in comparison to the fit finish of the hot bodies...diff's are awesome. I was leary about the shock caps , but I have always taken off the ballstud assy with the cap...

Put my D413 on the track today for the first time with the new schelle chassis, and i can't believe how much difference an extra 4mm in length made. The track was dusty and loose and this thing felt like it was on rails unbelievable. Night and day difference worth every cent.
