A buddy of mine was supposed to receive this as first prize for winning in Japan over a year ago. LOL

He's just about given up hope on this. At this rate it may just be renamed the D416. Ha!

(just kidding incubus!)

I would like to know how solid this rumor is... in fact I would like to hear anything at all from HB on what is going on and what we should expect.

I walked away from the TLR in hopes of this buggy with the center diff and shorty pack happiness.

deguzman made a comment few pages back. It is in production right now. He said would take like 60 to 70 days to produce then ship. I think the estimate was around end of february to first of march. Production started around thanksgiving

Your right, but that was a few weeks ago.
In a few weeks a lot can happen at a production facility.

All I need to hear is that this car is in production and that it is going to be released.

How far is production?
Is it already under production.

it would be nice if we could get an update, or just let us know that it is not comming for the next 6 months, So I can move on. No hard feelings

In 8 weeks my 2014 season will start. I need to have a wheeler. Im still waiting for this one. Ill even give up my first race in 2014 for it, as long as this car is going to be released within 2 months

I feel for you guys. I was also going to get one of these to try against my 410 but gave up waiting. I just don't understand why on earth a company would debut such a fantastic car that is obviously up to the task and allowed people to do in depth write ups about it. Furthermore, this thing is well covered on their site with complete descriptions about its systems and versatile configuration options so it is irresponsible for the company to not at least give a rough release date like Late March for all those folks who are holding their cash to buy one.

Reedy race this month. Another chance to see what the car can do hopefully on a nonsugar track. If Ty dominates that might be enough to keep me interested. If not I'm getting a yokomo. For now I'll be bashing my savage. Can't always be racing all the time

You can wait 12 years for a new asso 2wd or the new losi 4wd, but not six months for the HB?

I can wait cause it looks to be a fantastic car.

I didnt wait 12 years for a B5...Since the car was never even out that long. Plus, it won 5 worlds and was a top notch racer. Now you might be true on the losi buggy, but it is just an updated xx4, which does not sound sexy to me. I am sure the HB wheeler will be good, but their ability to actually get a car out the door, that podiumed with a production model a few months ago, is lacking.

I guess you missed my post about a friend who was supposed to win this car for winning in Japan OVER a year ago. The car has been in the works and known about for at least 2 years now, if not slightly longer and its latest outing where it finished on the podium whilst assassinating a couple other buggies and never skipping a beat, no one would be so eager for an official word on an actually physical release date. Most of us are recreational competitors but a good percentage of folks who drop this kind of coin on High-End RC Cars are dead serious racers who have to have a vehicle for every class they compete in. So some folks are holding out as long as they possibly can but will have no choice but to pull the trigger on something else out of necessity.

Given your commentary, it seems you lack the foresight to realize this.

Man, you guys are getting all cray cray about the car now. I'm sure it's in production and will be here just after my season ends, which is early March. Now, let's talk about how much a discount they will be giving RCtech membes that have commented on p.63 and earlier

Just buy another car and be done with it! If you have to race 4WD that bad then, purchase whatever car you want and race! I'm sure when this buggy gets released there will be a huge announcement and if you still want it, then buy it. It beats complaining about things that are out of your control. I for one will continue to wait.

Agreed. Chill out.

It'll sell well whenever it comes to market, so HB, do what you have to do. We'll be here.
