hope you like it man. I plan on running mine this friday for the 1st time aswell. let me know what you think of it stock. i just ordered the schelle chassis to run it in MSCS Series this year, heard it helps calm the buggy down a bit and jump better. fingers crossed

Once you get used to the motor mount, you'll like it. Easier to make very small adjustments to get the correct mesh. As far as the hinge pin screws, make sure you loctite them. they have a tendancy to loosen up and bend.

Curious if anyone has run the D413 Outdoors yet and on a medium to 1/8 sized track. Curious to see what people are running for setups and especially tire choices for 4w buggy.

Ran mine all last summer at a 1/8th size track... was liking Ty's Cactus classic setup, right down to the tires if condition were right.

The cactus looked high bite and very smooth.

Most of the outdoor ones here in OH are medium bite and can have a little loam or some rough sections, since 1/8 buggies and truggies run on same track.

Well put a pack in the buggy at the track. Stock setup is not bad. Buggy drove really good and easy to drive. I was able to push it very hard like I do my 1/8 buggy and it responded very well. I pushed it a little too hard and hit a clump of dirt at the end of the strait full speed and sent it flying. I broke the steering Ackerman plate. Overall I'm very happy with. Just need to make some setup changes and it will be very good!

My home track is a huge outdoor clay track, ive been running quiet a bit the last week trying different things and it handles like a champ, i cut 2mm off the back of the rear arm to move it back and tested back to back vs stock length and its a big difference in stability

OK guys been trying to buy a HB car, I order from tower in Feb. it was in stock then went Limited, early March,mid March and now late March.

Just find it funny with Tower being U.S. distributor and I contacted HPI USA and both have no idea when the shipment will be in. Is there someone else that I can contact to get the information I'm looking for.And I know A Main is showing limited stock,but want to stay with tower.Just hate been in limbo with no answers.

Any info will be more than what I'm getting from tower or hpi,thanks.

There is alot of stuff still waiting to be processed because of the California dock strikes. Not just RC, it's affecting a lot of industries. They cant give you a straight answer because they really don't know.
