The D413 will be fine on astro/carpet but the TLR 22-4 will have problems with the high grip thats what almost all the guys in the UK says about the 22-4.

Did Carson win the EOS? because no one cares about anything but first

Default Quick question

Just ordered my D413. Are the kits shipping with revised shock caps yet?
Ive been doing as much reading about this buggy as I can in preparation for the build. Sounds like the shock caps change over to B5M and rear camber links are weak. I order some front end parts and extra ball cups, and springs with the kit.
My Tlr springs will fit so I didn't go crazy with ordering springs.
Really looking forward to running this wheeler.

The caps are the same. Wear rear links? I have not found that to be true.

I got my kit this week - same caps as everyone else.
I'd just order caps to meet your needs - it seems the revised ones are still a ways out...
I don't think you will have any issues with camber links...
They seem no different in quality from most other kits.

Make sure you have VHB tape on hand (to assist with routing the wires and such) as well as a very small allen wrench for the diff screws... I think it's like .05 or something funky like that! I had to search high and low for a wrench that fit! (someone correct me if I am wrong on the size).

Yeah I wondered it myself about the rear ball cup. For 5 bucks I got an extra set anyways. I'll see if I can dig up the comment I read last night about it. Ill order up the caps tonight. Come to think of it I have an extra set of aluminum bleeder caps from one of my TLR 22sct. anybody know if they'd fit the HB shock body??

The thread pitch has to be exact when using Aluminum and they are not in this case. The plastic B5 is your best solution for the time being.

standard 22 fronts make the car a bit more tame...i guess they are a bit wider

I thought they were like 1mm narrower.

Think Jason may be referring to the wheel hex offset as opposed to the actual width of the wheel.

May have missed it but does anyone have a precut chassis skin out there yet?

The turn marshall pressed the ball cap on the tower and finished the race, granted I dropped down to 6th after being in 3rd, but my car is still alive and still drives.

Now if I had on one of the other caps, I bet something or the tower would have snapped, so I'm still like the "ball cup" shock caps
I have the B5 caps on hand and still have not needed to install them and have been running now for about a month.

I got a couple sets of 22-4 front wheels in the mail today along with a set of Associated rear wheels. They all look like they match up with the HB wheels as far as width and offset. But, the Losi wheels are a noticeably different shade of white than the AE wheels. The Losi sets look kind of cream colored next to the AE. The AE wheel color is pretty close to that of the stock HB wheels.

Just thought I would mention it in case it would really bother any of you. I'll probably order some Losi rears and Associated fronts so I have matching colors.

I would just get AKA wheels front and rear.
