Yes , 1.7 won't help um stop slapping , nor will 1.6 or even 1.5..

He's going to have to improved his driving , not to over jump the landings & down hill all the jumps.

Tuning for landings for reduce slapping only makes for poor performance on the rest of the track.
Quick question.....I thought you drove an AE? You have a team mate running a D413?

If I were sponsored by Ae ?

You would know it because that fact would be on my signature & I would not even be here sharing how to tune this car..

It would surely be the first sign of the apocalypse to see a ride other than AE in WC's stable...

ha !

I don't think so just yet...

One of the reasons I have a interest in this platform is because it incorporates a lot of ideas I would of used myself on the b44...

So I try driving the HotBody each week judging or comparing to my Ae.

I've TQ quite a bit since I got this thing in 4wd. It isn't driving or jumping like it should, which means I have to really finesse it, but that isn't the way to go. My B5M is jumping and rolling beautifully. I want to get my D413 like that as well.

I love AE and Kyosho shocks. Not loving these ones though!

I'm going to try 1.6 again, but this time try 40 front 35 rear since the heat is gonna be upper 80s next in the coming days anyhow. Right now I'm stuck with the stock HB springs or HB red fronts.

Thanks, Jason, I'll give the original setup I had a go again, but with heavier oil this time.

I know the Hobbytown in Kennesaw, GA has two in stock as of last Sunday (it isn't on their web store). They might ship them if you call. I didn't think to look if they had any parts for it. I want one but I don't have the money right now.

I am putting mine up for sale on the fs thread if your interested in a used one. I ran it twice and stripped the spur and disappointed in the lack of critical parts being in stock. pm me if interested.

Rybeau

Sounds like your outdoors, instead ?

Use
Front

Orange k spring & 1.5 x 2 taper piston 35w

Rear
White k spring & 1.7 x 2 taper piston 30w

Use Ae
Red front & Green rear if you don't have the k springs.

New to 4w buggy's... Why do you want a softer shock in the rear? Seems like the opposite on a 2w buggy?

You may also want to post in the WTB thread. Someone may see that you are looking for one and reply. Here is my listing for my d413.

Jcozz

Believe the 2w has more weight on the rear suspension then a 4 w & why 4w uses a softer rear suspension ..
