DEX408T body fit the V4 Conversion chassis?

Hi Guys,
Does the DEX408T body fit the V4 Conversion chassis? I have the D8T version and the standard body is too wide. I want to race mine and do not want dust and dirt getting un unnecessarily.
Cheers,
Mac

OK, back up & running w/a 21T pinion. a few tumbles no attempted back flips (yet lol). No breakage, but the sway bar link popped once & the right dog bone pin has shifted (I fixed this on the left side while it was apart getting a new arm. I'm not sure, but it may not like having the droop screws all the way in. Has anyone ever had this problem(the pins moving)? Temps after a pack motor 185, ESC 145, CD 145, & battery 145(85 deg & humid outside). Is this bad?

A new Exciter body on the MT4 before I ran it & put a 3" crack in it already, I didn't reinforce this one.

the mt4 seems more narrow : or is it because of the wheels ?

I think it's just the pics, the ET48 is longer & wider. They both have the same MT4/Rival tires/wheels. The MT4 has a stock track, & the ET48 has Tekno 2mm offset hexes. I'll get measurements.

I would say that isn't 'too' bad. The motor is on the brink of being too hot.. So, maybe loose a tooth or two on the pinion, or lower the current limiter some..

I have searched within this thread and others and looked at Tekno's site and I can't find the vertical limits of the battery. Length and Width are part of the specs but do I need to be concerned about the height of the battery 4S or 6S running into the body? Is it not even close? I've never seen an ET48 in person. I know the body is tight fitting.

It has a lot of room height wise. I'm running a 6S battery that's 153L x 49W x 55H.

Thankyou Overkill, I've seen your awesome over the top ET48. I was considering a 7200 mah 4S pack and was hoping it wasn't too tall, that's great news. Did you have to modify the battery tray because of the 153mm length? It looks like stock max is 148mm.

Yes, I had to shave off the ridges on the front side of the tray.

D8T Truggy V4 conversion body?

Hi Guys,
Here is my problem - I just purchased the Tekno 'conversion kit' for D8T Truggy. The width of the kit is 6 1/4" and the D8T is 7 1/2". That means the standard body does not fit tightly. I do not want any dust or more importantly the aerodynamics giving me inconsistencies during racing. Does anyone know what 3rd party body fits this kit? I asked the Tekno support people but they where unable to answer this simple question. PLEASE can anyone help?

Cheers,
Mac

Hmm.. The only conversion I saw was for the nitro D8T. Is that what you have?

(edit) Oops.. I misread the post.. I saw 7.5"

Good luck

I'm buying combo in that week. It's Hobbywing Xerun 150A but 1800kv or 2200kv? (sensored)

WonTonsChicken 05-12-2015 10:36 AM

2200kv will be killer!

Dude. I don't know if you've already bought batteries yet, but, if not - you should really check these packs out...

$69.95 SMC - 6S/4300mAh/40c constant:80c burst <------ These are packed into a 4S hard-pack case and are amazing batteries!!! They sell all kinds of other batteries as well...
