Thanks for that. Wild speculation, do you think I've compromised the integrity of the arm by removing some material to make it work with no rubbing? The arms are so beefy that I didn't think it would really hurt it...

I just took out the dremmel and ground down the screw a bit...EZ PZ

Good idea however The spindle rubs even with no screw, so I decided to remove some material on the arm itself to avoid any rubbing.

At full droop the spindle and screw will run on the arm. We recommend reducing droop as it's not necessary and also reversing the screw holding the steering turnbuckle to the spindle. Instead of putting the m3 nut in the spindle, put it above the steering link and insert the screw threw the spindle. This will keep the screw from rubbing at max droop.

FYI in testing and our latest setups we have found that full droop isn't necessary.

+1
Also-too much front droop causes a loss of on-power steering--never go crazy on front droop!!!

The arm should be fine in most cases. Unless you took off a lot of material.

I have a Pro-Line Bulldog body and DE Racing Mud Guards for my AE RC8T which I tried out on the ET48. For the body, I had to add some RC8T body mounts to the shock towers. For the mud guards, I just had to drill the holes.

Thanks, guys! I took the truggy out to the track last night and Damn, it's fast, jumps well, stays planted. I am impressed with the stock setup. Back end was occasionally sliding out -- a little tweaking to do. That's half the fun, right?

Metoo -- Your build thread was very helpful to me. You want to add the RC8T Bulldog body and DE Mud Guards to your list?
