TEKNO please confirm whether this old style diff housing mistake has been made on the WHOLE of the second batch or has been a closed mistake limited to a few kits? some of us are INTERNATIONALLY based and really cant afford to be experiencing such minor errors ... The amount of time wasted in shipping and transportation would just be insane. Not to mention the additional costs of shipping and new part ... It is simply not fair if a customer ends up having to buy a new part + ship it half way around the world just because incorrect diff housing were placed in a premium quality kit. Not cool at all.

Also, other second-batch buyers please confirm if the correct diff housing was in your kit or not

There was a different front diff at one point? Sure you didn't mean the rear? Would also like to know if it's kit-wide so I can go ahead and order the replacement.

Battery strap mod
 

Any good mods out there to replace the straps with a brace? The straps hold it in place just fine, but takes too long if trying to do a battery swap during the race when running with nitros.

I just run the side straps with Velcro on bottom of pack to hold where I want front to rear. That industrial Velcro is so strong I could run no straps if I wanted to chance it.

I got my basher tires done but I'm still waiting for Tower Hobbies to send my ET48 Basher. I backordered it and I'm still waiting...supposedly being processed today, so hopefully they get on the ball and ship it today also.

I haven't tried the 5 cell pack but I have no problems with the 4 cell pack I have from them.

the kit had the correct rear diff housing and the old style of rear housing that was used in the sct and eb48 kit, that I was trying to use in the front,

So far only that one kit had the error. Pretty sure it was an isolated packaging error. I just checked my kit and it's correct.

Did you use a pair of 2s packs or one of their 4s packs? Reason I'm asking my packs are starting to get a little tired so I need some new ones for racing...

I only use single 4s packs for 1/8th scale.
